Default HUGE CLUTCH TRANNY PROBLEM!! What Could It Be??

I think I just found a huge problem in my build and I wanna cry

I pretty much built a motor from scratch, my first ever top to bottom. Its a D16A6 in an 88 Crx Si

Ive got pretty much everything buttoned up and installe din the car, today I was finishing up and I connected the clutch cable to the tranny and tightenned down the plastic nut.

I pulled up on the lever that it attaches to and it goes up without anyforce being needed, just barely have to touch it and the lever raises. I pushed it up hard a few times continuously and you can hear it ting off of something, sounds like the little clutch fingers...............

I jumped in the car and sure enough there was ZERO pedal pressure.

Im actually really sad now cause i thought everything was going great and I find this at the worst possible time.

The clutch is a clutch specialties 6 puck unsprung, cable transmission.

I really need help as to what it could be and what I have to do to fix it. I really dont want to have to pull the motor, my parents would freak and I need the car asap.

Someone Please HELP!

You did put a throw out bearing in there didnt you? Is the cable for your tranny tight enough?

What creates the tension or force on the cable/pedal? I've only messed with hydro.

If the clutch and TOB are all proper just tighten your clutch cable. You might just be too loose so your tob isnt even touching your pressure plate.

I tightenned it all the way to the end of the threads which pulls the lever up, still no pressure on the cable or the pedal when i did this

I dont see a single thing i could have done wrong, I read the manual five times and Mike and everything just bolted toghether like cake

Did you grab the lever on the outside of the tranny and move it up and down and see the tob move or did you just pull on the tob?
