what welder
if i am a beginner welder - like never done it but want to learn, whats a good type of welder to buy that i could make useful in my turboing project like for exhaust pipes, charge pipe flanges, junk like that?
is there anything you can do stuff like that good that runs on normal house current?

115 volt dual gas fluxcore unit would be good for your needs as you can start with flux and add gas at a later time when funds allow.

Harbor Freight Flux Core for the win. It's come in handy so many times....

i would just get the hf one. i got an arc from them as a beginning welder i like it. i got the arc because it was on sale for $79 which is what that mig used to go for. no reason to pay twice as much as a hf when it has been proven to be a decent machine for small ----
