any complaints or pos feedback? how would i go about using it?

i just bought a wideband, socketed pm6, and downloaded turboedit and ecucontrol. i want to start datalogging, but not too sure how. i read somewhere that you have to download a program, burn it into a chip, and install it into the socket. where would i get this? i get the gist of turbo edit, but unsure of ecu control. any help would be appreciated.
