ok i have buyd an crx d16z5 but i want to ad some more horsepower, (sorry for my english because i am a belgium )

i thougt on a garret turbo kit, now it has i think 124hp i want about 200hp, maybe with a turbo of have you any other thougts ?

this site is dedicated to building, and making your own turbo system, as oppose to buying an expensive complete system.. However if you have the money, then do so.. but im sure you can build the same thing for much cheaper.. depending on the availability of attaining parts for the local junk yard, and/or fabrication skills that you may have.

 

I thought the CR-X 1.6i-16 editions were only fitted with D16A8/D16A9's?

 

In several countries in Europe the CRX 1.6i-16 Type 2 MKII (90-91) had a D16Z5

It is the same block as a D16A9 except
- ecu (PM7-X04)
- better intake
- 4-1 header
- less agressive cams (no proves, people just keep saying this)

I'm also from Belgium and I also drive this kind of a crx with a D16Z5 in it.

so hmmm yes for the turbo kit, does anywone have a suggestion for reaching the 200hp...

which type of turbo kit etc...
