Default Annyone run a T3/T4 .63/.70 A/R on a Bi8B

I hate to ask this question, but here it goes. I have been collecting parts for a turbo kit for my LS teg. The turbo that I bought a turbo from Blasst Perfornance was supposed to be a .63/.60, but i received a a .70 A/R compressor housing instead of the .60 that I had ordered. I plan on running about 10 lbs. daily. Has anyone ever used the combo on an LS?

Turbo specs are: T3/T04E .63/.70 54 trim stage 1 turbine.

I am looking for something that will pull like crazy but I don't want it to not spool until 5000 rpm. Should I keep it or sell it?

well that option is for you to iniatially decide...
But, see what you can get for it. as oppose to what you spend for it..
iff you can sling it for more, then get another one to your liking..

ME personally, I would keep it..

Yeah, I am ind of leaning towards keeping it. I was just curious if anyone had run one of that size on a modestly boosted LS. I probably will crank the boost up once I get more tuning experience under my belt and a spare block.

even tho it is a .70 AR compressor housing remember it is a 54 trim wheel, which is not too big, but not tiny by any means, it will spool pretty decent, well enough for your LS to use it.

now if it were a .70AR with a 76trim wheel in it would say no

remember this also 10psi is very easy to get to, its when people are running 25psi of boost from a larger turbo that it has a tendency to lag more.

i know if i switch my boost controller form 22 to 10 it pegs 10 fast as ---- even tho it is a rather large turbo, and it seems easier to maintain

I thought that since it was a smaller trim that I would be okay This will be my first turbo build. I so was looking for some experienced opinions.

Anyone have suggestions for DP diameter? I was thinking of going with 2.5.

Thanks for the responses guys.

of course most people will tell you 3 inch, but i actually liked my 2.5 inch, it seemed to spool up a tad kwiker, hell it may have dropped me 10-15hp on the top end but it worked great on my other car, and since most LS motors arent revving to 10k anyways, then i would go with 2.5
