Default the ugly gsr swap, putting a obd1 d16z6 in a obd2 gsr

since del sols had both b and d, i assume i can drop a obd1 z6 in a 97 gsr by using the 92+ dseries mounts and shift linkage. By obd2a to obd1 connector i can use uberdata on my p28. does this sound correct?

Am Ieaving anything out?

You will just need to use the GSR harness on the D setup, use a standard 2>1 jumper and relocate the 2 wires on the GSR harness (going to front crank sensor) to the distributor. Slap in a p28 and your ready to roll.

Mounts are pretty straight forward as you mentioned, I've actually seen a DC2 with a Z6 in it, looked pretty funny

what if i got an obd2a wiring harness from a civic? i bet i will have better luck if i stay away from the 'gsr' labeled stuff.

eh, I've learned my lessons on swapping harnesses from different model's/years/series to other cars.. ---- that. I always just use the original harness that came with the car.

i have one connector obd1 d16z6 harness that doesnt fit on the 97 gsr harness, it looks like some small plastic parts on the male end dont have a female hole.
