Purchasing Japanese engines
I was just looking at this website and called them
http://www.aoneengine.com/products....ID=4&Make=HONDA
They wan't $500 for a A6 long block. Which is pretty high. Anyway my question is sine when did japan have A6's or z6's ?? The 88-91's had b16's, right? Isn't the A6/z6 usdm??

Yea the A6/Z6 is USDM. Not all of them had B16s, some had ZCs and other engines I can't think of. As far as I know, no Japanese engines have a number at the end of the engine code. For example B16A is JDM, B16A2 is USDM
link doesn't work now
edit: got it...they have two d16a6's listed...one for 88-91 usdm civics/crx's...and the jdm zc version i guess for 92-95 del sol's and crap. Even in a boneyard though that's about a going rate for a good-shape motor. Heck, if ya live around where i do they want at least $900 for a 92-95 z6 :P
