I came across this on ebay, I wanna get started burning my own chips and learning how to do it myself. Is this burner nice and easy to use? User friendly?

All i have is a chipped ecu and a re-burnable chip from xenocron and very little knowledge

Ya, It will work, but trust me, I hated my old Willem. It was older then that, but I've tried those too. I will never turn away from Moates!!! I got the Burn1 right now with 100% sucess, Never had a problem. Hopefully I'm getting the Ostrich soon too!

 

I have a Willems and it gets the job done.It took a little while to figure out but i have zero problems with it now.If you got the cash do like they say and get the Moates.

 

I have like zero knowledge nor anyone but the net to show me, will it be to hard to use?

It just seems to come with a lot of things and I think its the one xenocron uses and has a writeup for?

I had never used and diy engine management or burner before purchasing the willem and running Turbo Edit.As well i had only the net for support as no one locally uses any burners/uber etc.There is plenty of posts/writeups on PGMFI and here about using it.I just followed them and it works fine.It can be frustrating when you first start by i really wouldnt hesitate to recommend one.

 

And does the auction I posted come with everything I would need to get going with burning with a pc

 

Yes it appears to come with everything you need.I would order a handful of chips as well if he sells them too.

 

If you're on a budget this burner does the trick. If you don't mind spending the extra cash I'd say get the moates. Once I got my moates I've never looked back. Simply an all around better burner.

 

It isn't like you are breaking the bank on the Burn1.

It is easier to use
Higher quality
You will get actual customer service and software updates from craig, unlike eBay stuff
more portable with nice case and one wire design

I had the willem, sold it, got a Moates. Makes things sooooo much easier.
