b series kit on D series motor
hey all
I got a B series kit real cheap from a close friend of mine who just blew his motor on his GSR. I plan on putting it into a civic hatch that i got. it's a 93 d16z6 with about 150k miles on it. What all do I need to complete the install besides a D-Series manifold? If there is a link to something like this or if anyone has any advice about this install then post!!!!! Obviously you guys are the pros about this ---- so that's why i came to this great web site first.

well, you already know you need a manifold. thats a start. and obvioulsy the mani has to be made for a d-series, with a T3 flange.
Then you will need better fuel management, that FMU is crap. get your ECU chipped which is cheap since you already have an OBD1 ECU.
Injectors DSM 450's will do fine.
IC piping. use what you can from what you have, may need more. or less
Oil feed. the line you have should be fine. you need the block fitting for a d-series.
the drain shoud also be fine, but you will probably need a fitting to tap your oil pan with if your friends is jb welded
you can just cut part of the downpipe your friend has if it fits in your engine bay, and run an open downpipe. or if it lines up to your exhaust just use it.
BUT BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING SEARCH AND READ UP!!!!!!!!!!
