is there a difference between the two would the car run any diff with the auto mani on there

 

Intake or Exhaust, exhaust definately would be the same.

 

oh sorry intake amd also is a dx tb diff from a z6

 

Throttle body should be the same from the same obd. The Automatic manifold might have different vac lines located in different places. However you shouldnt have any problem with it just because its from an automatic.

 

the intake manifold are the same. i am 100% sure becasue i had a 5 speed and my bro has an auto :1

 

well i took the tb off and it looks like the fitv and iacv passeges dont look like they line up can any one give me a pic of the back of a z6 tb so i could compare them

there the same so your lookin at the wrong parts somewhere. The didnt change until 96+ y8 when the iacv was converted to 3 wire and located on the throttle body rather than the intake manifold. You tkae pics and show the difference but if you have the right parts 92-95 d16z6 intake manifolds/throttle bodies are 100 percent the same.

 

the dx b7 tb is the same as the z6.

 

Like LSD said, perhaps vac lines are diff. but the mani as well as TB should be the same
