i finally got everything hooked up for my set up, but it starts up for 10-20 secs and then sputters til it shuts off. i've replaced and regapped the plugs and still don't see a difference.
here's my setup:
d16y8
tdo4l internal wg at 7psi
6'' intercooler
dsm 450cc inj.
chipped p28 with uberdata w/ obd 2 to obd1 conversion kit

oh yeah it doesn't show a check engine light either although before it shuts off it starts to blink the oil light. i checked around and i don't see any oil leaks. i did break the oil pressure sensor, but that shouldn't cause it to not run. i just used the t fitting and put one end to the block and one for the feed line and blocked out the other hole with a bolt.

this is my first turbo project as you can see and i got a couple of questions. if you have a chipped ecu, does that eliminate the bypassing the map sensor? How do you check for bad injectors? When i do give it some gas it boggs down sometimes. Does anyone know how to fix these problems.

you may have gotten a chipped ecu for the wrong injectors, or maybe chipped with a different map sensor.

also are you running a resistor box for those injectors or no?

no chipped ecus DONT eliminate the MAP sensor but you can choose which one you may want to use, other than stock, that could be your problem

i'm using the 10watt 10ohm resistors. so i would still have to get a missing link or check valves?

With uberdata you don't need the missing link or check valves. Check your connections on the resistors or try a new map. Are you running the td04l off the wrx? If you are I've uploaded my old wrx d16z6 setup onto ------------- a while ago which worked well for me.
