im goin to make my own custom equal length turbo manifold.
whats the best diameter for this.
i think 1 1/2 inch is to small?
help me out plz.. so i can order 90degree pipes

 

1.5" Is a good size, it helps keep your exhaust velocities up.

whats the size of the normal turbo manifolds?

 

i used 1.25 inch pipe on a tubular manifold i made for a d15b7
spooled a t3 48/60 by 3300

 

1.5" I.D. ovales out perfect for a d-series I think it's an ideal size for a manifold unless your going to stay below say 220-50hp if you use mild steel use sch 40, if stainless sch 10 will work.

 

This schedule 10 304L 1.5" This is Lyle's manifold I finished this weekend.
