Can you cut flanges with the plasma that comes with that unit?I really need a tig in spring and the thought of having a plasma as well is very tempting.Aslo do you know how many amps it draws?

I'm still contemplating on of these, but I wan't the higher amprage. So I need to pay the higher cost!!!
But I would still like to go all out on a Syncrowave. My buddy and I might invest in one together.

I'm planning to do my aluminum work with a torch, a la tinmantech.com. I don't have anything in mind aside from a few cyl head repairs and fabbing an intake manifold - perfect! Actually thinking of casting a couple intake manifolds, and picking up a cheapass Unimat SD200 to do the finish machining.
