Vortex knows expensive wheels and cars that came turbo stock. I built the above GTI and have built a few other cars from the ground up. Shooth me an e-mail with any questions you might have.

lol its true though.... why would you swap to a system that cant really be modifed from stock? sure you can chip it, but the chips suck and dont work. sure you can "hack" it with other stupid ---- like an AFC... why wouldnt you go to a MegaSquirt setup? think its something you should look into, plus if you sell off all your digi 1 crap you should be able to pretty much pay for a Megasquirt....

stock injection systems arent ment to be used for modded cars. they are fine tuned to work with one setup (your case with digi 1 a supercharged 1.8L 8v with a CR ~8.5:1), and tuned for best emissions in mind also, they are willing to sacrifice performace for that... so trying to get it to work on a turbo 16v probly wont work too well...

so...stock injection = ----...in pretty much everything but Honda's, they are the only ones that seem to get it too work with high hp non-turbo to turbo setups....

 

ecu, green top injector, and engine wiring harness is all from a superchared corrado g60
i know about megasquirt.. my custumer doesnt have the money to go w/ megasquirt..yet
so we a friend that had a smashed up corrado to convert to wat we had laying around..
well w/ a MAP corrado ecu and green top injector it be okay for 7psi.. for now
were you guys really thinking that i was gonna put stock injector w/ digi 1 conversion and maf..?

well i cant wait to get this project done
and do another mkII golf turbo that is gonna be mega squirt..

 

i wasnt refering to 'injectors' i was refering to the 'injection system'.... i assumed that you would be running G60 injectors...
