Default I know it's probably cheaper, but

I know this is a home made turbo site, and I know I could do a lot of research to find the right turbo for my car, but man to me it would be so much easier to buy a set-up kit from Turbonetics or another dealer than to read and read and not really know exactly what I'm reading and find the right parts ect ect...I guess I'm just restless because I have all winter to plan on what turbo I want, but there is a lot to it and to me it would just be easier to speak to someone and have them pick the best kit for me. I think it would safe me a lot of hassle like reaserching and finding the exact parts I need. Anyway, I don't mean to stir the pot because I respect the fact that a lot of people here have made their own turbo's, but whenever I ask someone to help and I'm not talking about this site at all, but whenever I ask what I should do or what would be the best thing for what I want, I always get the same answers. "Search for yourself" or "read this" and whenever I do tell them what setup I want and how much I'm willing to spend ect...there's hardly anyone that can lead me in the right direction. I mean if I do buy a turbo kit, the dealers will ask me what I want and I will tell them and then bang! I have my answer. I guess I'm just looking for someone to lead me through this because I would like a home made turbo, because from what I've heard and read it is cheaper and you understand what is going on because you helped build it. So if anyone is up for a challenge to help me that would be great and like I said I have all winter, so there is lots of time. Peace

buying a name brand kit, youll spend a lot of money.

check out the fs forum. a lot of people have complete kits for damn near what it cost to build it. the point is, buying a kit from some hmt og's will be cheaper than a new kit.

Yeah been to honda-tech and that's just the place I was talking about. I will however check out some kits for sale. And I probably don't live anywhere near you, I live in Canada. Thanks for the help.

See me looking at turno stuff for sale really means nothing cause I don't know where to start, that is exactly why I started this post, for guidance as to where to start with what I have and what I'm looking for.

we told you in the last thread you started. read the faq's. how many times do we have to tell you. if you dont understand what you are buying the only guidance we can give you is to point you to the faq's so you can read them and start to know what to look for and stop asking stupid *** questions. dont buy a kit new, usually overpriced with shitty parts. dont even think of starting to buy stuff yet.

just like the last thread, same advice. read

I will be doing my research about turbo's, ---- hopefully soon I will know a lot about turboing a car so I won't have to ask these questions, but for now I would like a starting point to lead me in the right direction.
this was from you two days ago on the other thread. theres no way you can read enough to in 2 days to understand fully what you are about to embark upon. read damnit. you're making us dislike you each time you ask these same questions over and over.

if you ask again i'm going to beat you over the head with that spoon you keep wanting to be fed with

Go read Maximum Boost by Corkey Bell first, then come back. Sounds like you have no clue what you're doing. That will give you some idea, so the faq makes more sense.
