At the last swap meet i was at i picked up a garret b35 turbo for 20 buks, its in great shape. i was wondering if this is a good turbo or not and how much boost can i get out of it on a small block chevy, if anyone knows please write back thanks

 

looks like a gay chrysler turbo, you'd probably need two of them, most definately

 

ur gunna need alot more than that ***** to make some good numbers

 

i have one, its useless. you would prob need 4 of them on a SBC

 

A second one will net you 500 whp.

A pair is a good match for a 5 liter, they tend to strangle the 5.7+ displacements.

 

Yeah that's alittle small for an SBC. Get two maybe and run a TT setup, or just make some money on ebay, sell it and then get something bigger for your project.

 

that turbo is similair to s teo4h, chysler turbo, spools quick, but cuts out at 6k

 

The Mitsubishi variant is a bit smaller. That's why they used it on the automatic cars that ran less boost.
