I've been tuning a bit. Thought I'd share this one.

car is a 95 si, d16z6, nsr technologies (5thgencivic) manifold, dumptube, downpipe combo, uses a t3 .42/.48, tial wastegate, 450cc injectors, and a chipped p28 with Crome

I didnt really get to do much other than base the car out, wideband wouldnt read cause it was so close to the end of the downpipe, had those bosch+4 platinum plugs in it, and only had a 3psi spring and some cspeed design boost controller that didnt work for ----. it saw 8psi or so a couple times but wouldnt hold it.

I worked on this on saturday, then today, they came back sayin it was spitting and sputtering and running like ----. I tossed a new basemap in it to be sure, but it still ran like ***. Pulled the #1 spark plug wire and it made no difference, #1 wasn't firing. Once he goes through my fix-it list, I will get the wideband on it, and get the car dialed in for him.

no, just a random decision i'd imagine.

actually yes, the guy that i bought the car from had one of those mugen style ones on it that I didnt like so I let him keep it. It's now on my old turbo coupe...but I wanna get a basic one, like the one they call type R style or whatever.

more pressure there than up top...

some reason why the full-race set up has the bov before the ic. its to protect the turbo... not all the piping put it in front of the turbo.


of course, there's varying theory's....

the one being tuned in the upper pics is not mine, its a customers.
