Default eclipse custom turbo kit

hey guys... ive posted here before and really didnt get a whole lot of help with this. and i know this is a more or less a honda tuning site but, here goes!!!

i done so much research on this and have been contemplating on building a custom turbo kit for my 98 eclipse gs. The motors is the non-turbo eclipses are crap. 420a engines(neon engine) have been proven to boost up to 8 psi without any problems with internals. so with this in mind, i ve really been wondering if it was really worth my time to buy a stage 1 or 2 kit that costs about $3000 only to run about 8 psi without blowing internals?

so, here is where im at.. i have a garret t3, a vortech fmu and a safc. the only things that i know that im gonna need will be a custom manifold that fits a t3, an intercooler (the bigger the better) all the plumbing, bov, custom downpipe and a high flow cat, highpressure intank fuel pump, wastgate, and oil lines

i just need some opinions as to wether or not this kit will fly... i havent done anything else or tried to complete my kit because i honestly dont know how hard it will be to get the piping done for the manifold and ic. what do you guys think?

of course the kit will work, that's about all you'll need. if you are really serious find people to make you a manifold for a fraction of the price as buying a name brand one, just ask around, and as far as pipes, READ this site

hey man... me and my neighbor are working on a project ...same car... same engine as you .... i found some guy online that sells the flanges for like 75$... its a bit expensive but seeing how road race engineering doesnt like the 420A motor... they didnt have a head flange for it. and im gonna get hooked up with some shop time and tools to use to make it for him, welder, pipe, pipe benders, cutters... ill try to post pics as soon as i get started...

If you figure your kit is goin to cost 3 g's you might want to look into getting a jdm motor which will probably come with a turbo, you might end up getting more horsepowere for cheaper.

the hahn kit only runs 9 psi intercooled and hits about 275 hp at the crank. they say that boosting more than 8 psi will kill the bottom end really fast. so im thinking that ill run a fuel hack, sell that fmu that i have and use bigger injectors. does anyone know where i can get a cheap ic?other than ebay?
