it could probably hanle around 12psi. ummmmmmmm..... yes you should boost it, but you will need more engine management,like and apexe v-afc

 

Woah if you have that in a CRX like i think you do from your name that car will be absolutely insane!!! By the way your going to need to do very careful engine tuning or lower the compression to run much boost throught that motor.

 

dont go over 6 psi on stock internals. IMO ripping apart a b18c5 to rebuild it for boost is a waste of money...should've bought a c1 instead.

 

If I had that motor and was going to go turbo I would get a stand alone fuel management system first so you can tune the car really well.

 

i say keep the c5 motor N/A.Those motors have high *** compression. you can spend that 2k and i think produce more power then u would with a turbo running 6psi. and N/A will be safer. Thats my opinion.

if i had a c5 i would keep that beast all motor, it would a be ashame to blow that sucker up.

 

Yes I know he spent more than $2,000 I just figured that info would help him out. I would keep that motor N/A if I had it also.
