I'm seeing a lot of stock turbos on junkyards around here, mostly Eupropean KKK's, which I was told are T3's. How capable are these turbos as far as peak boost in relation to engine RPM? I also found an old 300ZX with the turbo still on. Is that worth pulling out? Thanks......

 

ive heard of a kkk turbo maxxing out at near 8psi on a 97ish civic.

 

their are lots of variants of the KKK turbos, I know some of them are pretty large.

I used the 300zx T3 turbo on my Mini-me and Built zc, its a bit small, but spools very fast, and has a very friendly wastegate actuator (set at 5.5psi)

any info on the different kkk turbos? i know they come on audis, 944 and 911 porches and some others. what sizes are they comperable too?
