Default will a t25 produce the same amount of hp as a t3 at the same amount of boost?

a guy that's building me a manifold told me the a t25 will produce the same amount of hp as a t3 at the same amount of boost. only the t25 will produce the boost quicker. is that true? for example both turbos boosting 7 psi & the same type of engine & set up, will they both produce the same horse power? thanks

the t-25 produce less cfm's (moves less air) at the same given boost pressure. The t-25 spools faster because it is a smaller mass to start rotating and has less inertia.

The short answer is no. Why? compressor discharge temps. The actual lbs/min of air being flowed (how much air can this motor choke down) at 7psi is a huge factor affecting where each compressor will 'land' on its compressor maps.

What engine? Im game for some dork # crunching....hehehe

just so i understand correctly a t25 will produce less power than a t3 because it will be hotter intake temp

there is a lot of factors here.
It will produce more heat than the T3 if you boost it past it's efficiency level.
the T-25's are more efficient at lower boost and at a certain rpm that will be low for a B16. A T25 will die out at 6-7 K depending on it's size. if you rev any higher with yo b16 it will go slower, cause the t25 will produce more heat. that's a less denser air .. less oxygen in the air.
