looked all over the place, but to no avail... i've done MUCH searching, but found no info on exact measurements on where to place the 12 posts for a d16z6... anyone know?

thanks for the quick reply... saw the article, but "about 3/8 of the way down (from the top)" isn't gunna cut the mustard for me... hence still wanting to know the "exact" measurements from the deck...

 

this is the best i've found...

"On earlier D series like those on the CRXs, the first set of holes on the intake side are 1.375" from the deck, the second set are 2.75" from the deck. on the exhaust side, they are 2.0" from the deck (i dont know where they are placed on newer D series like the D16z6 or y8, if anyone can shed some light on this that'll be great). The posts are torqued down to approx. 1 INCH lb. and sealed in with Devcon Liquid Aluminum, but i suppose JB weld will work too."

Ya there is no exact measurements. Just look at the block, run at it with a drill, and where you hit is where on goes!!!!!
