hey, i am new to all of this and i am wondering, how hard would it be to turbo my 85 prelude. i have dual carbs and that is why i dont know how to go about boosting it. how could i do this?

 

Don't do it. Ford has an old 4cyl turbo stang w/ carbs that had some problems- its unreliable if you ask me- Of course, for motorcycles- they do it- and i dont know how...its genius- the 82 Yamaha XJ650LJ Seca Turbo, and Honda has a 500cc turbo'd- both carbs, both turbo'd..and sick fast

 

yes you can boost carbs..there's alot of work and knowledge envolved..if your set on it..just take your time and research and plan plan plan

 

there are to ways to go about boosting carbs, draw through and blow through. search then make your decision on which way you will use

However yours is with sidedraft carbs instead of my downdraft carb.
Or make a custom manifold so you can fit a downdraft.

you could just do a draw through

 

If you want to make your charge pipes a bomb. I am of the opinion that blow through is the way to go.
