Data loging cable

hey all.. ok i have been looking threw the threads about getting athe cell phone wire from ebay for like .99 to 2bucks but all those links are for auctions that are like 2 years old and the links dont work.. so does anyone no what cord i need. i no what one i need from radio shack. the only problem is the closest radio shack to me is like a 2hr drive. and gas like 50 bucks a gallon. thanks

You need one that has the PL2303 chip inside of it to convert the signals...
