the 400+whp lsvtec i tuned last month is now making 500+.

he installed a new manifold and downpipe and wanted a retune. he only gave me an hour and i stretched that a little over, but there is still more tuning to be done. went with a conservative/fun tune.

 

why would it not be possible

Not a fan of him myself...but he has created a following. You cant hate on someone that knows how to market themself that well...and satisfied customers arent stupid...if they werent happy, they would bitch...especially on H-T.

EDIT: Although, being a moderator in the FI Section of H-T does have its perks...and the ability to use the 'DELETE' button if ever needed to save your name

 

one of my boys had his fully built/sleeved lsv tuned by masey poo and put down 478 with a measley *** sc34! great numbers, yes, but the fact that the car melted 2 pistons a couple months later on low boost, and i mean 12 psi, extra low boost for his set up, leads me to think that mase just tunes cars for high power to make himself look good and customer's temporarily happy. the fact that it blew up on such low boost makes me think he doesn't find tune column by column but just does wot pulls in which case a column at 12 psi would have been blown right by. just my .02, but yeah, if people brought me their fully built set ups, i could get the same numbers, as well as a lot of other people. i have no respect for him, he's just an average joe that can tune in my opinion, nothing special about him like all the nut swingers on ht seem to think.

 

Wow, that dyno sheet is two whp short of being impressive. It's a commonly known fact that Uberdata is unable to make two whp more than the dyno chart above. You aren't showing us anything we didn't already know. Just ask Mase.

 

it's my understanding that the stock ecu can control up to 1600cc injectors, so uberdata, crome, hondata, neptune, etc. are all capable of tuning for more power than i'm sure anyone will ever make that would care to use any of the programs.
