The obdII ecu isn't modifiable... at least not yet that is on the open market.
With obd1 you can simply chip the ecu... add a datalog port and have a pretty darn nice engine management... without a rough piggyback.

And if you dont plan on doing any tunning, a p28 will work for sure but its usually more pricey then a converted P06 which will work exactly the same. Might aswell just buy an uberdata ready ecu.

I have a P06 on ebay that I got in a junkyard the other day for a few dollars. I guess that I should have kept it. I thought the P06 was for vtec only. How is the P06 converted anyway?
