You may not have enough oil pressure at the lower RPMs to get it to go into Vtec.

I dont think you have a oil pressure sensor hooked up, right? So the light doesn't know if vtec is working or not it just knows that the soliniod has voltage so I dought its oil presure :P

Hey Jago

I read your other post on HT. My suggestion is to bypass ECU activation completely. Just wire a switch under the gas pedal and hook it to a relay wired into a 12v circuit, and connect that to the VTEC solenoid. 100% Throttle = VTEC-E.

I'm under the impression it's a 12V switched source from whatever pin it is on the ECU. That's what it's said in every writeup I've seen.
