I hate to say I just destroyed my Violet GSR. She was my love and I'll miss her. Good news is I came out with little more than a scratch and nobody else got hurt. The engine/drivetrain is still dandy. I am thinking about grabbing up an old CRX (my first car) and doing an engine swap etc. I have zero experience with this although I have a lot of domestic engine repair/overhaul experience. Would anyone recommend that I hire a garage to do it or just suck it up and dive in myself. I am speaking from a cost concerned perspective.

thanks for the leads. it looks like this is going to be pretty straight forward. I'll be setting up my own site once I get started on the project for anyone who wants to learn what troubles an ametuer might go through when taking on something like this.
