should i use a oil restrictor on my new turbo or do you think it will be fine without one?

 

you dont acually need one, but it will extend the life of your turbo

 

hard to say without an oil pressure gauge

 

where to get one?

 

this is the one i use since steve use to give out gigantor -4an oil feed lines with his kits and it started blowing oil out of my brand new turbo :P http://www.atpturbo.com/Merchant2/me...egory_Code=OIL don't get one of those gay 'restrictor valves', then you have to try to adjust it and 'guess' how much is too much or how little is too little.

 

or, as an alternative, just run a -3 line into the turbo - the size of the line acts as a restrictor itself. That's what I have on my setup and it works great.

 

i use to run a -3 and still got a little oil of the turbo, and from what i hear, many other people do also, but, some don't. a turbo should NEVER see more than 25 psi of oil pressure at the very most, and i have my oil pressure guage t'd off of a -3an line and it hits almost 80 psi sometimes
