i need an adapter for either a dohc zc or an 88-89 integra dohc d16a1 head to mate to either an 88-91 sohc crx/civic or a 92+ civic sohc intake manifold. i want to put this adapter on my head so that i have a bigger selection of intake manifolds to put onto my 89 integra motor. if its the 92+ adapter, then i can also use newer and bigger throttlebodies.

someone let me know if you can make it...also, i need to know if this is even possible.

some poeple make them out of aluminum blocks. i was wondering if someone could make one for me, or if someone already has one.

i know of some shops that make throttlebody spacers/adapters for certain intake manifolds. i figured if i asked around, someoone would be able to make something like this. other people make custome intake manifolds. hell, if i could do it, i would be making one as we speak.

us a ZC intake maniolf flnage and maybe JB weld it to a Z6/A6 IM.
just s though. maybe it works...

but you have to slice off the DOHC ZC flange, the mate/weld on a intake of your choice, like a Edelbrock. Larry/TOO @ ENDYN is doing this.

 

Psshh If you going through the hassle, just make your own IM. Also, a spacer would move the IM too close to the firewall running the risk of hitting it by engine rock.

 

trust me, itll be ok. my engine sits a bit forward and tilts. i still have an extra 2"+ between the IM and the firewall.
