Hey guys i've got a teg rs and wanna know which motor u guys think is better for a turbo kit,i got the whole kit already and i just got a good deal on a b16 so i wonder if i should stick with the stockb18b or buy the b16?thanks

 

The b18b has lower compression so you can boost more safely, and it will probably be easier to tune. The b16a will probably have more power at any given boost level. But I would go all out and do the ls vtec turbo, just be careful tuning it.

 

I would just stay with the b18. Better tourqe, and your turbo will take care of top end. vtec is a bitch, plus you can tell all the vtec kids that they suck! -La Opinion

Vtec and boost is fine, just need to dial out overlap with some adj cam gears and your good to go..

 

stay with the B18 if it's already in the car.
And boost the shti out of it

 

I say go with what ever you feel more comfortable with but in my opinion I agree with Semnos boost the crap out of the b18

yeah go with whatever you feel like, but I'm so eager to boost, so i wouldn't be hassling and going trhough an engine swap if I allready have a great engine to boost.

 

And tell the vtec kids to eat a cack!
