My turbo to turbo manifold bolts keep coming loose. and they are a PITA to get to to retighten. Any suggestions on how to get them to stay put

 

lock washers, tack welds, jb weld.

 

i say lock washers and tighten when mani is cold, then run the engine n retighten when it cools a bit to touch, the bolts tend to expand a bit once it warms up. then vibration loostens it up completly. try that or some hi-temp kinda loctite or something.

 

Double nut it.

 

tighten them as hard as you can, then tack weld them

locking nuts. not the kind with the plastic inside.

 

I would love to use a threadlock, but have yet to find a threadlock with a high enough heat rating to withstand the heat of a turbo manifold.

The red loctite usually needs to be removed by applying heat, so I dont think that will be ideal for a turbo manifold.
