I ------- hate my toyota and I want another car.
*half a rant/half what would you get next*
All dam weekend long I spent cusing at that peice of ---- toyota. It is the most worthess designed pile ever. I ------- hate it. With that said, its gonna be sold. I still havent got the new clutch in (gotta order a different one) so the tranny is out...that toda didnt go in. (same spline count, different size spline. go figure
)
So im torn between 3 cars. What would you get.
-I found a ZC auto CRX for $1,000 plus it needs a GOJ inspection. another prolly $400 but it is built for gymkhana (autocross) (pretty decent condition)
-I found a SiR II EG (B16) for $2,000 GOJ good for about a year and a half. (needs paint, but in good condition)
-the car im battleing thoughts over is a 180sx/ sr20det for ~$1500 needs GOJ. (kinda "junkyard style") it does have cusco "drift suspension" all the way around.
After working on that POS Toyota, I dont really know that I wanna go anything but a honda. Hondas are easy to work on, Im pretty knowledgeable on them. On one side, honda parts arent easy to go pick up around here (contary to belief) and on the flip side Nissan parts are like ****. They are everywhere and plentiful. If I break something, its a matter of running to about any shop and getting a part. Huge power can be made easily with the det.
I just dont know. The next car I get, I gotta keep for a year. I cant get rid of it. (rules)

Sorry to hear you're having bad experiences with Toyota, Frank.
If I were you, I'd stick with honda then.

I would get a stock car, that grandma was driving. You mention a lot of cars that have "mods" that sound like they could be huge hack jobs. Don't get an auto and don't get a car that a kid "modded".
