Default b16 in a 89 dx shell wiring problems

ok here is the deal i had a 90 crx hf that already had mpfi. i'm tring to put the motor in a 89 dx shell. so i was just going to use the hf engine harness in the dx. so i put the motor in the dx shell and the ------- plugs on the driverside dont plug in !!!!! they are both round clips but are different, the dx has 12 wires going in to it. and the hf one only has like 8. is there a way to splice the hf harness in to the dx shell harness.

cant you just put the Dash harness out of the HF in it? That would be better than splicin the harness in the car.
