I want 400hp so iam building it right no shortcuts.
i know some people that have turboed LS and they run 12psi .
but can they handle more like 15-20psi?

The most I've seen is 308 whp on a mustang dyno on a stock block.

there are stock Ls motors out there putting 350-400 whp down, how long will it last? not very long....400 hp pretty much requires good rods/pistons at the very least if you want it to last, i would recomend arp head studs as well....and if your gonna build it "right" why the ---- would you even be talking about using the stock rods? buy some H-beams from tuner toys for $225, same ---- as eagle H-beams, those will take 400 hp all day long as long as its tuned right, if you dont tune it right you should just get together a big pile of cash like a couple thousand dollars and use it to start a fire......

dont use stock rods, go to www.tunertoys.com and buy there forged H-beams for $225 its the best deal on good rods out there...and i would personally use an oem honda head gasket with a very thin layer of copper coat sprayed on it and torque the arp head studs to like 85 foot pounds, opinions vary on this, but i've never seen problems if you do it the way i described....
