Default Suggestion on new ride

All my ---- is looking to be sold in a couple of day so I'm in the preparing what to buy with money I don't have yet mode. I'm looking outside of honda's. Here are my choices
-240z
-1g RX7
-510(it's worth a shot :P)
-3 series late 80's bmw
1-3k range for the car then 1g for schooling

then with the money I have left I'm taking some welding courses to get my foot in the metal fab./welding industry and try to get into a apprenticeship program with a local company.
Any suggestion on the my selection if you had owned or drove any of them. I'm gonna check out a 240z tomorrow thats right in town. I would be in love if that worked out. I love antique imports.

If you mean 240Z as in Datsun those rule. They are def. the coolest old school import other than a Toyota 2000GT.I owned 3 first gen RX7's myself and I can say that they were the funnest cars I've ever owned. They are pretty cheap to do motors in as well and easy to work on.My civic would absolutely rape any of the RX7's I owned but it is still only half the fun to drive.

...14b? 14b is a turbo y0. First gens came with 12a's and second and third gens came with 13b I do believe...

Get a first gen, they're freakin cool as heck and you don't see many running around nowadays.

the 240 was a "Z". Good grief not a s13. I'd stick with getting another civic if that was the case. I've always had a thing for the 1g RX7's but finding up here in WI without rusted out floorboards and a boatload of other places is the key. I was thinking of what to swap in the "z" and just would stick with the stock carb'd straight 6. Though for the 7 I would pull that wankel out so fast or just find one without it. Then toss a bigger 1100cc+ streetbike engine/tranny in it. The 12a is only 100hp/100tq and a considered a 1.1 ltr engine anyway. Hahaha a 14b, thats the uber rare hella jDm only made for one year in a Mazda Cosmo and was a 1 rotor wankel. lol. yeah The 14b is the 1g dsm snail. It's thought that counted Colten.
