this is the only place i could think of to ask,I just bought a pair of delsol seats
at a very good price to put into my 89 hatchback my? is has anyone ever swaped
these seats before the delsol seats are about 1 3/4 inchs wider I know I can go buy some after market brackets but before I do just thought I'd ask if there is a easy way to do the swap If not they will go up for sale mark

 

why dont you put them in and see if they bolt holes line up.

Yes, you've said that. The actual seats are wider, but what about the holes in the bottom that the bracket bolts to?

 

Unbolt the braket and use the braket from your stock seat it will bolt up to the del sol bottom ive done this in so many cars with a variety of diffrent seats you shouldnt have any problems every thing should bolt up nothing custom i have a pair of del sols right here with ek brackets on and a pair of gsr black leather with ef brakets everything bolts fine i did for me atleast hope this helps

 

thanx, i didnt go that far yet its just that the brackets on the ds seats are outboard and the hb seats are inboard just thought id ask first

 

your hatch brackets wont bolt up to the del sol seats. my friend installed a set into his and he fabbed some mounts
