Well after months of ------- with my vafc settings I never ever got the steady idle I once had.
Now it rough idles with the settings at -20 and can only smooth out at 0 which is rediculous and at -38 the tack makes a nice bounce and falls on its face afterwards.
No vac leaks, just up and down idling which leads me to believe the spray pattern on these injectors is different from the factory honda ones.

I know I know chip ur ecu. But how the ---- do u get the batronix 4 to work with ur parallel cable in winxp. FUCKEN PROBLEM AFTER PROBLEM. I cant even get my tuning tools to work so you know everything is going down the *******.

rx7 injectors are known to leak, id have them flow tested

 

I use the parallel port in XP all the time, between my old Batronix 3.2 and 3.3 as well as my EconoROM3. What is your problem, exactly? Maybe I can help.

FYI, the RX7 injectors do have a muddier spray pattern from the hearsay I've been exposed to. Probably have a lot of deadtime if they run better richened up at idle. Let me guess, when they are rich enough to idle alright, you bog a LOT on throttle tip in?

btw my batronix software keeps telling me that my parallel port is not ready. I checked the faq and it says to change the port settings from printer port to something else... did that still no worky

I know in XP my printer port is jewed around and not at LPT1/whatever hex address it's supposed to be - 0378 or something? I had to kick it a bit.
