I guy at my work has to get rid of his 83 turbo T-bird, and he may part it out, my questions are as follows: It is a 5 speed, do the 83 5 spedds have the larger T-3 than the automatic? What other parts are worth grabbing (injectors etc.)?

 

You should get the oil line to and from the turbo, any coolant lines going to the turbo, the downpipe, o2 housing, wastegate.... Everything you can get your grubby little hands on!

 

i believe they have a solenoid valve for a boost controller as well. might come in handy later. look for it connected between the turbo and the wastegate can..
