how much time quicker would my 1/4 be if car was 80lbs lighter?

Default how much time quicker would my 1/4 be if car was 80lbs lighter?

how much quicker would i be if the car was 80lbs lighter in a quartermile?

i think like .08? i think its .1 sec per 100lbs. not sure tho

my 2600lbs with me EG hatch, is only slightly faster than my buddies EF hatch 2200 with him, with about 40 less whp. both b-series 1.8L

by slightly i mean, in a quarter mile his front bumper is at my rear bumper

why did this rumor start if that was the case the street cars would be has fast has the drag cars.

why does that link use 1330 feet as the quarter mile ?

80lbs is alot. If it's a full interior all out street car it's pretty easy to ditch 80lbs of weight but if your cars already stripped or partially stripped thats where the trick comes in on how to leighten up your car a little more

if your worried about 80lbs your probably still slow

just turn up the boost, that solves everything

So did I I didn't know how much gas it was going to take me to get to the track. Sucks, I still had about 3/4 a tank full.

I dont know how that even possibly true.. there is so much difference on how you can loose weight.. and where you want to be light.. those blanket equations people use always make me iffy.
