My friend has a 91 Teggy LS. He wants to bore out his cylinders, he was wonderin how much hp & tq gain would there be? and I want to know how much it cost to do this?

 

About as much as it would cost to piece together a decent little turbo kit

 

usually about 30 bucks a cylinder plus the cost of pistons, and i dont think you would gain much if any from boring, you usually bore if your cylinder wall are too worn, tell him to spend the money in some headwork instead, or an hmt kit.

Hes looking at those eBay XS power ones. If you guys have any statements on those. How much boost would he be able to run safely?

 

those are the worst kits out there, turbos blow up, manifolds crack/brake, wgs brake, dps are 2", no fuel managment and there gay and deff not worth it, make ur own, buy parts and keep it going, do resurch on here, theres ramdom strikes project da 90-93 integra in turbo projects on the side read and learn..

 

how the ---- did you find hmt being this new? what the ---- did you type in google?

 

ok now its time to flame. have you heard of the search function? look up ss autochrome/ss autoshit, and youll find all the necessary information. or better yet gp ahead and buy one then turn the boost up to 25psi and see how your motor does then. DUMBASS. try a search.

 

why would you turn it up to 25psi .... why would u turn a ebay kit to 25 PSI!?

as for your friend, bore them ***** out to 82mm, stock sleeves. then run the afc to adjust fuel. should be like 20-25 hp gain
