its always worked fine I had to format and reinstall everything well the drive is fine and reads cd'd and all

but when I open my cd burner program it doesnt recognise that I have a burning capable drive?

I checked my ASPI something and it says to be fine from adaptec

I tried several programs they all show that I dont have a burner drive

anyone help?
