This guy at work has a 99 gsr with a Greddy 18G turbo kit and a Greddy type 24 front mount intercooler and some kind of exhaust. Total invested by him was around 4800 dollers hes been talkin smack ever since he put it on. I've had mine on for about 3 months now and tonight i finnaly got to race him. By the time i got to the top of third ( about 90-95) i was a good 4-5 cars out in front of him. hopfully this will shut him up. total invested by me including a 1800 doller welder, band saw, drill press, ocy acet set up and all the other tools to make your own kit i was about the same 4800-5k. but intead of buying tools he payed some guy 30 dollers an hour to put it on. and the funny thing is his car looks like the average modded teg with lights and wheels. my car looks stock inside and out. sorry for the rant. just glad to shut him up

nice job. and you also get the satisfaction of doing it yourself. That he will never have. And all the tools you have left, you can make a few more turbo kits and get your money back. So you are way ahead of him. Simple as that. good job.

 

im gonna do a hmt turbo kit on my car as soon as i gt a megasquirt in my car and working perfectly. after i get it rebuilt and velocity ported. with a customne intake manifold.

We both work at a casino so we went out to a dead end road that nobody drives on that is a good mile and a half strait. we raced up it and down and i took him both times. Yeah and with all my tools that i have now i plan on making a turbo honda powered sand rail some time in the future too

if he ever did it'd be a miracle... hes gonna do it on his rx7 i assume since that's what he got. he's been here forever with no turbo car i known of =x
