spun some bearings in my celica, it sat for awhile i bought a 4th gen civic hatch to drive around in my celicas downtime. i got lazy, i didint do it a year later i started buying parts to turbo the civic. i guess the civic didint like the idea that it was going to get turboed so it cought on fire.

^ new motor in
I had to convert the new motor to use an egr valve with the intake manifold and exaust manifold from the usdm motor. the jdm exaust manifold had a weird o2 sensor and i didint feel like ------- with trying to find it.

still waiting for someone else on a toyota fourm to tell me how the vac hoses are routed on the tvis/crusie control/ power steering system. the dealership manual has the vac diagram for the emissions system but nothing else. weird ----. other than that its just buttoning it up and putting the lower crossmember back on. hopefully it will be running this week. then boosted eventualy

p.s. anyone know why toyota lets yamaha badge there motors in japan and not in the us?

Nice stuff man. Sucks for the hatch, but I like how you keep the celica low key. Reminds me of a celica around here driven by a middle aged balck lady, all stock though, but that's what yours looks like

 

I think if I change anything on the celica, Im going to put some 00 celica gts wheels on it and have them painted gloss black. So i can run some decent tires. the garage isint mine i wish it was though. its my dads, and he is so ---- about keeping everything clean. i spilled atf fluid all over his garage floor just to ---- with him
