I have a 98 civic ex, my transmission is all messed up and I am getting a new one.. i was planning on getting a dx tranny because it has taller gears.... which tranny is optimum a turbo d16y8?? any helpful comments aprecciated..

 

Why would you want taller gears?? Are you going for better gas mileage?

 

DX = better gas milage
EX = Quicker Acceleration

 

Get the EX tranny. You will regret getting 'taller' gears.
