broke bolt in housing

Default broke bolt in housing

broke a bolt taking the turbo of a talon anyone know of a what taking it out? wha sucks its in the spot where it doesn't go all the way through. the turbo is a 14b

I've got one broken in my T# and I've tried the drilling and using the easy-out trick and no way. It just twisted the hell out of my easy-out. Maybe take it to a machine shop. I dunno.

yeah take it to a machine shop and have them do it.

if you have some of the stud left. heat up the housing and use a pipe wrench on it..

That same thing happened to me only I broke 2 bolts. Yeah, I bitched about it for a week and then noticed the housing had a bigass crack in it, so I have to get a new one.

i work at a machine shop. what you can still do is to drill out the bolt, just dont damage the threads on the housing, and then blow out the remnants with a cutting torch.you will need to then retap the threads, which sucks cuz of the metal left melted on there, dont break the tap. or take it to the machine shop

i have yet to encounter an exhaust housing without any cracks...

well old ones..
