Do you need a non-cracked windshield to pass tech inspection?

 

I'll go ahead and guess yes. it's definitely a safety issue.

 

depends on what track/and inspection they got also depends on the crack. When i go to Atco there really is no tech inspection the guy wrote the number on my winshield and said i was missing a lugnut jsut get it on there for next time, and i had a small crack in the pass. side low corner of my winshield which they said nothing about....

 

I think Pacific is pretty lax on the tech inspection. You going to BOTI in August?

 

I've never been bothered about the crack in mine, its top to bottom on the passenger side.

 

That's good to know, not trying to pay $200, then $35, so I can race 4 times and get yelled at by bitchy staff. Although I will pay the $35 by itself.

Damn, well your crack is a lot bigger than mine is (hahahaha...). Mine runs along the bottom. Just to be safe, maybe I should look for a huge *** sticker, LoL.

 

last time i was at pacific, they threw out some really cliche ricers in front of me for a cracked windshield... they let me pass though...

i went to the High School Drags and the dude in the inspection let me go cuz "i just came to have fun" but he told me i should have it fixed next time i go

my crack is from the rearview mirror (dumbfuck pressed it on too hard..) almost all the way down to the bottom corners. i was contemplating getting some windshield marker things and drawing over it to make it look ricer-ish. at the test n tune's once u pass inspection, u get a card that is valid for the rest of the year

 

Did you have a cracked windshield too?

 

what about shaved door handles.
