hey im about to pic up a 90 civic hatch. its highly modded and is haul ***. i need some help though. the car has 283,000 miles on it. its a std (the one with only one mirror, 1.5 liter, 4 speed, dual port injection.) but it has an ls b18 with tranny in it. It also has the ls center console, rear disc brakes and master cylinder, 18 volk rims, full tokico gas shock suspension (with the rear shocks blown), short shifter.... the works. he only wants 1500 for it, thats gone down from 3gs about a month ago. about a week ago he broke a timing belt. he didn't mess up the head, but he got a brand new head from autozone anyways. then yesterday, his distributor fried. he was stuck out in the country with a fried dizzy. so we went to autozone and got a brand new one (not refurbished) but the car got no spark in any of the cylinders. we discovered the problem was the wiring. When he did the multiport swap (by himself) he had the distributor wires backwards, so he wired them to the ecu backwards. the new dizzy was set up right though, but now the ecu wires were backwards. anyways, the car runs good, low 14s i think, i just need to know if i should pic it up. the motor is bone stock, not even an intake on it, just cat back exhaust.

 

why not. if you got 1500 to blow on a car its worth it. if anything youre getting something with potential.

Step #2- Sell the 18"s to some ricer for 3 times what theyre worth
Step #3- Buy steelies
Step #4- Use the extra $$ from the rims towards an HMT kit

yeah but the thing is im going to have to pull a loan out to get the car, so i am really wondering if i should get it or not, dont wanna ---- up my credit this early.
