Default Anyone running a Holset?

I just broke the damn turbine shaft in the T3 that was stock on my Turbo'd shadow. Since then Ive been looking into putting a Hy35 onto my 2.2, because of the price and the size. I will be running over 20 psi and was wondering if any of the honda guys have started using these cheap, huge turbo's

thanks.

stick with the stock turbo it would be wise. And i think that no one runs a big holset, it might work but i would stick to the stock one. just crank up the boost ? keep us informed about the holset if you do it

you nuts? im trying to push a 2900lb (race weight) car into the 12's that only has 8 valves. stock is not a option! I was running 13.8's at 100mph before... at 20psi with the small T3. I need a bigger turbo.

HY35 will be a little laggier than the stock T3, but that should help with FWD drag launches. Power per psi won't be any better than stock until 10+ psi. Expect 500 whp maximum. So sorry if you need more

HEY!

www.htturbo.com has a hot swappable HX40 compressor wheel/housing for $200 for the HX35... if your shaft size on the HY is the same, you can probably stick that on there. That'll get you to 700 whp.

Want more? Go spend some money, punk!
