hey guys,

just started to encounter this problem. Under boost doesnt make any smoke and she runs great, but recently during the breakin period, if get off the boost i will get a shot of blue smoke coming out of the exhaust.

The same scenario occurs if im going around a corner and im not in boost, the car will shoot smoke out the exhaust for a brief sec or two, enough to cause a small smoke screen.

Besides this, the car is running excellent and am having no issues. Any ideas as to what it could be?

Ive heard that the B-series motors have strong oil pressure and definately need to be running a restrictor in the feed line to the turbo. I will be installing this tomorrow and see if it cures my problem along with changing the PCV valve.

Ill give that a shot for now, as well as the usual check the plugs and do a compression test to make sure everything is good.

It could be caused by a restricted oil return line which cause excess oil to accumulate in the turbo.

 

I believe worn valve seals also causes the same problem.

go down a hill under alot of compression braking. at the bottom stick it into a higher gear and then floor it. If u smoke, its ur valves

 

turned out to be a plugged pcv and a really shitty tune
